Activity Log

Personal & System-Level Event History

Find out more

Renki’s Activity Log feature provides users and group members with a transparent and controlled way to track system events. This is not a monitoring tool but a user-centric function designed to help individuals understand their activity history and changes within their groups.

How Does Activity Log Work?

Full user control

Users can only access their own data, and no information is shared with others without permission.

Separation of personal and group-level events

Users can view both their personal activity log and broader group or system-level changes.

No employer or group admin surveillance

All personal data remains visible only to the user, ensuring GDPR compliance.

Unrelated to
system logs

The system maintains essential logs for service operation, but these are independent of this user-focused feature.

Personal Activity Log

A personal history log to track user-specific settings and activity changes.

  • Displays actions like enabling or disabling a public calendar.
  • Users only see their own history—not events related to other users.
  • Helps users understand their own engagement within the system.

Group & System Event Log

Tracks group- and operator-managed changes that may affect the user’s experience.

  • Shows modifications such as group settings updates and Infoscreen changes.
  • Only group members can see events relevant to their group.
  • Does not include personal user data—focused on system transparency.

How is the Activity Log different from traditional system logs?

How is the Activity Log different from traditional system logs?

  • Entirely user-centric – Users control and view only their own data.
  • Not a monitoring tool – Employers or group admins cannot access a user’s personal log.
  • No mandatory data retention – Users have influence over their information, and it is not used for external tracking.

The Activity Log ensures transparency without compromising user privacy.
